The club is situated within 15 minutes walk of the Historic town of Waltham Abbey with its 11th Century Abbey built by King Harold, who is reputedly buried there and the historic Gunpowder Mills.
There is a petrol station within 15 min. walk, a main line station to Liverpool Street within 30 min. walk, the road access to the club is good, and the M25 can be accessed within 3 miles at Junctions 25 or 26.
The club has Elsan Disposal, water and electricity to the moorings and a DIY pump out facility available for use by members.
The nearest pub is the Crown, which again is a 15 min walk or a short cruise and away to the North, or the Greyhound is the same distance to the South
Waltham Cross is approximately 30 minutes walk away, or a 10 minute bus journey and has an extensive shopping area with at least one of the major supermarkets.
